Dr. Nicola Moscufo

Nicola Moscufo completed his PhD in Biochemistry at the Istituto Superiore di Sanita, Rome, Italy, and an MA in Environmental Analysis from Boston University. He has conducted laboratory research in both academic and government settings in Rome and Boston in the areas of molecular pathogenesis of viruses such as Influenza, Poliovirus, and HIV, the etio-pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis, and the role of environmental factors in neurodegenerative diseases.

A member of the Earth Policy Institute, he has also advised on solid waste reduction and recycling at the community level.
